To take a good picture, you must watch your background. It is important because your background might have soomething silly, so it will make your picture look weird. You could also go outdoors if possible because natural sunlight produces better photo lighting results, BUT you must not have too much lighting because that will be too bright. You could also use a flash outdoors because bright sun can create dark shadows, especially around faces.

It would be good to move in close to your shot so you can get a better view, but don’t go too close or too far because that will look just akward! Move your subject slightly off the center so your shot won’t be boring. Sometimes, the length or width of your photo might not match your subject, so just learn when to take vertical pictures. Not everyone likes “cheesy smiles” , so it would be good to joke around a little so the person’s smile won’t look “forced”. Be aware of your surroundings! ; make sure some surroundings that affect your picture are the good type. Take lots of pictures because there might be a setting in your camera that you never knew of! ; I know I was like that because I never knew my camera could have a black and white & sepia tone setting.  :)
